Design, build, and operate on‑premise and cloud computing infrastructure. Implement IaC and configuration management, manage virtualized/container platforms, networks, and security. Monitor, respond to incidents, migrate and maintain business applications, administer third‑party SaaS, and document systems and procedures.

Design and analyze mechanical components and assemblies for an ocean-deployed energy system. Create CAD models and detailed drawings, perform structural hand calculations and trade studies, direct prototyping and testing, and work with technicians and suppliers to prepare deployments and maintenance procedures.

Lead design of mechanical subsystems for long-duration, maintenance-free ocean-deployed hardware. Own concept-to-deployment cycles including trade studies, CAD, FEA, material selection, prototyping, testing, vendor interfacing, and mentoring junior engineers.

Design, implement, and optimize onboard data aggregation and telemetry systems for ocean-deployed Nodes. Build reliable, low-latency network-facing software and efficient egress pipelines for constrained links, harden services with security best practices, improve testing and CI/CD, and collaborate cross-functionally on APIs, bandwidth prioritization, and system resiliency under intermittent connectivity.

Lead development of reliable embedded software for ocean-deployed devices: architect firmware and embedded Linux, collaborate on hardware bring-up, debug at the signal level, implement OTA and fleet updates, set CI/testing standards, and mentor the embedded team to produce long-lived, fault-tolerant fielded systems.

Own end-to-end software integration across embedded firmware to flight-computer and autonomy layers. Triage cross-boundary issues, develop PIL/HIL test harnesses, maintain CI/CD and release processes, ensure OTA update robustness and observability, and capture repeatable integration procedures and verification data.

Lead and execute offshore operations including load outs, towing, deployments, recoveries, moorings, and test campaigns. Manage a small team of technicians, coordinate vessel and vendor activities, work with engineering to commission and improve equipment, maintain owned gear, interface with regulators, and build the offshore team while promoting a safety-first culture in a rotational offshore schedule.

Lead and improve CFD processes for validating optimized marine system designs, utilizing tools like Helyx and OpenFOAM, while collaborating across engineering teams.

The Fluid Dynamicist will develop and validate marine hydrodynamics tools, collaborate with engineering teams, and perform data analysis to support design and optimization tasks.

Lead financial operations and accounting processes during growth, ensuring compliance with GAAP, cash management, and financial reporting. Collaborate with teams to implement systems and develop scalable accounting practices.

The Lead NX Design Engineer will own engineering documentation and standards, focusing on complex assembly drawings for safety-critical welded structures using Siemens NX, bridging design and production processes.
