Own full-cycle recruiting for specialized engineering, scientific, technical, and other roles. Develop sourcing strategies, build candidate pipelines, assess technical and cultural fit, coordinate interviews, partner with hiring managers, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Use recruiting data, market insights, and compensation benchmarks to guide hiring decisions while representing the company’s mission and culture. Support high-volume hiring in a fast-paced startup environment and travel to vendors and test sites as needed.

Build and maintain financial planning infrastructure supporting budgeting, forecasting, liquidity, capital allocation, manufacturing scale-up, and deployment decisions. Develop corporate, project, structured financing, tax credit, and asset-level models; translate operational data into financial forecasts; reconcile forecasts with accounting actuals; and prepare leadership, investor, lender, and board materials. Support equity and debt raises, improve financial systems, and provide clear recommendations in a high-growth renewable energy environment.

Owns industrialization from pilot production through qualified volume manufacturing. Responsibilities include manufacturing strategy, capacity and cost modeling, equipment specification and procurement, facility and line planning, installation and commissioning, process qualification, production ramping, vendor management, and eventual leadership of an industrialization and manufacturing engineering team. The role requires regular on-site work in Portland and Vancouver, plus substantial domestic and international travel.
