Own financial planning, forecasting, investment analysis, and performance reporting for Panera’s capital expenditures and restaurant development portfolio. Evaluate investments using financial models, support development governance and executive reporting, track spending and returns, and provide recommendations for capital allocation. Partner with real estate, construction, operations, and leadership teams while improving forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes through tools such as Power BI and Anaplan.

Leads HR technology strategy, Workday governance, HR service center operations, process optimization, data governance, analytics, automation, and employee self-service. Oversees HR technology roadmaps, vendor management, service delivery standards, continuous improvement, reporting, compliance, and employee experience. Partners cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders while developing HR technology and service teams.

Leads Panera’s franchised cafe portfolio, driving profitable growth, franchise development, transfers, renewals, and compliance. Evaluates franchisee financial health and investment capacity through detailed financial statement analysis, negotiates and closes development agreements, oversees franchise administration, and presents portfolio risks and opportunities to executive leadership. Manages a two-person Franchise Services team and partners with Operations, Strategy, Development, Legal, and Finance.

Administer Panera’s executive compensation and long-term incentive programs, including grants, vesting, transactions, tax reporting, participant support, governance, Board materials, documentation, audits, and compliance. The role partners with HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, HR Technology, executives, and business leaders while improving controls, processes, accuracy, confidentiality, and participant experience.

Serves as a strategic HR partner to regional and retail leaders, developing people strategies and advising on employee relations, talent acquisition, succession planning, workforce planning, compliance, performance management, and leadership development. The role drives organizational effectiveness, change management, employee engagement, and enterprise HR initiatives while using workforce analytics to inform decisions.
