Process incoming scrap vehicles for shredding: drain fluids, remove tires and mercury switches, search for prohibited items, verify VINs, keep work area safe and organized, and communicate with yard personnel.

Part-time senior accountant responsible for month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement support, and analysis. Build and maintain Excel-based reports, analyze expenses and profitability, support tax and property reporting, maintain fixed asset schedules, and assist with ad hoc projects to improve reporting efficiency.

Perform installation, alignment, maintenance, and overhaul of heavy industrial shredding and metal recovery equipment. Troubleshoot hydraulics, conveyors, motor controls, and basic PLCs. Develop preventive maintenance schedules, document work in CMMS, lead projects, recommend reliability improvements, and mentor apprentices while supporting shift and on-call operations in an outdoor, safety-critical environment.
