Lead and grow a ~20-engineer system software team to deliver the full-stack software for trapped-ion quantum computers. Own roadmaps, backlog, devops, release and support processes, cross-team interfaces, and team performance, while balancing delivery speed and quality for internal and external customers.

The Photonic Layout Engineer will design and layout photonic integrated circuits for quantum computing, collaborate with scientists and engineers, and produce photonic layout files using Python scripts.

Develop and maintain advanced UVM/SystemVerilog verification environments for complex FPGA designs. Define and execute verification plans with constrained-random testing and coverage analysis. Collaborate with RTL designers to debug issues, build automated regression suites, and integrate continuous verification into CI pipelines to ensure reliable quantum control systems.

Lead transfer pricing strategy and documentation for non-Americas entities, support direct tax compliance and global tax provision under US GAAP, monitor international tax developments (Pillar Two, withholding, PE risk), partner with Finance, Legal and Treasury to build scalable processes, and identify automation and data tools for transfer pricing and international tax workflows.

As a Senior Physicist in System Operations, you'll manage quantum computing systems, focusing on operation, maintenance, and process improvement, while supporting commercial and development environments.

Design, code, run and analyse experiments to validate and optimise trapped-ion quantum computers. Prototype control and cooling schemes, calibrate and benchmark gates and circuits, validate trap technologies, and document results to improve system performance.

Responsible for designing and developing FPGA features for quantum systems, including logic design, simulation, verification, and firmware testing.
