Manage accounting and payroll for a portfolio of 20–25 fitness business clients. Responsibilities include reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, financial statement preparation, accounts payable, payroll tax filings, sales and property tax returns, and client communications. The role requires accurate, timely work, independent prioritization, confidentiality, and effective virtual collaboration with clients, managers, and tax teams.

Lead SaaS financial strategy and multi-jurisdictional reporting, manage forex risk, legal contracts, IP governance, and data privacy (POPIA/GDPR). Oversee payroll, HR compliance, equity/LTI administration, and partner with the CEO on people, culture, and growth. Embed AI and tooling to produce board packs and operationalize finance across African markets.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and consolidated reports; manage general ledger, reconciliations, fixed asset register and debtors; ensure GAAP/IFRS and local tax compliance; perform budget variance analysis and identify cost reductions; delegate and mentor junior staff; streamline accounting processes; lead rollout of a new accounting/bookings system.

Lead the finance function for a mid-sized financial services group: manage accounting, IFRS compliance, monthly and annual reporting, audits, tax, loan book operations (disbursements, collections, reconciliations), forecasting, ALM, cash flow management, stakeholder reporting, and present to Exco/Board.
