The Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure will enhance developer experience, automation, security, and AI infrastructure for a team of engineers in a fast-paced EdTech environment.

The Staff Software Engineer will lead initiatives in building a full-stack educational platform, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product and Design teams.

Handle escalated support tickets from parents and teachers via email, investigate ambiguous situations, make independent judgment calls, occasionally manage Trust & Safety issues involving sensitive content, communicate outcomes clearly, and share feedback with the CX team.

Lead and grow a multi-site infrastructure and platform engineering team (5–10 engineers). Own infrastructure architecture, platformization, DevX, automation, security hardening, and AI enablement. Partner cross-functionally and with senior leadership to set strategy, roadmaps, and deliverables while remaining hands-on in development and mentoring engineers.

Own and scale Outschool's paid search and emerging ad channels (Google, Bing, ChatGPT). Execute keyword strategy, campaign architecture, bidding/automation, Performance Max, and day-to-day campaign ops. Use AI to speed workflows, build dashboards, run A/B tests, analyze performance, and collaborate cross-functionally on attribution, landing pages, and audience signals to hit CAC and acquisition goals.

Lead cross-functional execution of public-funding and ESA initiatives across CX, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Product. Own project plans, roadmaps, dependencies, and status tracking; act as internal ESA-family expert; drive AI-enabled automations and process improvements; coordinate partner-driven launches and scale operations while mitigating risks.
