Design and lead development of rugged communications and power-management electronics from concept through production. Responsibilities include analog/digital/audio circuit design, component selection, PCB guidance (Altium), hardware bring‑up, validation, EMC/ESD mitigation, failure analysis, test development, production support, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.

Design and prototype analog and digital circuitry for rugged communications and power-management products. Select components, create schematics/BOMs, validate performance and compliance, support production test development, troubleshoot and sustain products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Mechanical, and Sales.

Design and develop ruggedized communication hardware (speaker mics, PTTs, headsets). Lead mechanical design, development, and validation of ruggedized communications products from concept through production. Own system architecture, perform CAE and tolerance analyses, prototype and test to MIL‑STD and IP requirements, produce documentation, support manufacturing/quality, and mentor junior engineers.

Manage the calibration program and perform inspection/metrology activities to ensure product quality and compliance. Oversee internal/external calibrations, operate/program CMMs, perform surface plate and first article inspections, interpret GD&T, maintain calibration records, support audits, MSA/Gage R&R, and provide training and continuous improvement support.
