The Senior Accountant supervises accounting operations and financial close processes, prepares financial statements, manages general ledger activities and company credit card reconciliations, and maintains accounting policies and internal controls. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, compliance, and process improvement while providing guidance to bookkeeping and accounts payable staff. The position is based in Des Plaines, Illinois, with Monday-Friday hours and occasional Saturdays and holidays.

Provides chairside orthodontic assistance, prepares patients, takes radiographs and impressions, supports bonding, debonding, aligner, retainer, and appliance procedures, maintains patient records, sterilizes instruments, educates patients on oral hygiene, and follows infection-control protocols. The role also includes administrative duties during clinic travel and participation in marketing events.

Provides chairside support during orthodontic procedures, prepares patients, takes radiographs and impressions, updates records, educates patients, sterilizes instruments, and performs aligner, bonding, debonding, retainer, expander, and scanning procedures. May complete administrative duties when traveling to sister clinics and participate in marketing events.

Oversee daily regional clinic operations across multiple locations: manage and coach office managers, perform weekly site visits, monitor metrics and financial results, resolve escalated patient and employee issues, lead hiring/terminations, coordinate marketing and training, and ensure policy compliance and patient satisfaction.

Provide chair-side orthodontic support including preparing patients, taking digital radiographs and impressions, assisting with bonding/debonding, aligner procedures, scanners, and laboratory tasks. Maintain sterilization, update records, educate patients, participate in marketing events, and occasionally travel to sister clinics.

Oversee daily clinic operations including staff management, scheduling, patient care coordination, regulatory compliance, budgeting, reporting, training, equipment/supply management, and patient data privacy.

Provide dual-track leadership and clinical orthodontic care across multiple clinics. Deliver chairside care 2–3 days weekly, mentor and evaluate associate orthodontists, monitor KPIs, lead training, ensure documentation and regulatory compliance, support hiring and staffing forecasts, and coordinate clinical operations with executive leadership to drive quality, case acceptance, and financial performance.

High field travel (≈95%) with regular reporting to manager.
