Build and lead Orbis Operations’ Defense business development function. The role develops senior relationships across DoD and industry, identifies and wins opportunities, manages the full capture and sales lifecycle, establishes pipeline and CRM processes, structures strategic partnerships, and supports proposals and contract awards. The Director will provide market intelligence, shape requirements, represent Orbis at customer and industry engagements, and translate customer and competitive insights into Defense strategy.

Design, deploy, and sustain secure, highly available networks across classified, multi-domain, on-premises, cloud, and contested-edge environments. Configure routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances; monitor performance; resolve complex incidents; and lead root-cause analysis. Implement Zero Trust controls, support IRAP accreditation, mentor engineers, develop standards and disaster-recovery plans, and engage government customers on network requirements and incident response.

Maintains and reconciles general ledger, accounts payable, vendor records, bank accounts, and journal entries. Supports invoice processing, financial close activities, AP system implementation, audit documentation, and audit-ready recordkeeping. The role requires recent Deltek Costpoint experience and supports finance operations in a government contracting environment on a hybrid schedule in the Washington, DC Metro Area.

Leads strategic operations planning, program evaluation, research design, performance measurement, and process improvement for a U.S. Intelligence Community client. Conducts document reviews, interviews, gap analyses, and qualitative and quantitative analysis; develops recommendations, reports, and visual presentations; briefs senior stakeholders; and implements adopted recommendations. Requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, extensive Intelligence Community or consulting experience, and occasional overseas TDY travel.

Define architecture and technical direction for Catalyst’s distributed data platform, including messaging, state management, reconciliation, streaming, storage, CI/CD, and Kubernetes operations. Build Go and Python frameworks, improve reliability and SLOs, lead incident response, maintain secure dependency and artifact delivery, and develop infrastructure automation. Collaborate across teams and with customers, review designs and code, establish engineering standards, and travel internationally up to 25% to support mission-critical deployments.

Lead architecture and implementation for a secure distributed data platform runtime. Design Go-based concurrency, subprocess supervision, inter-service protocols, distributed persistence, and resilient processing pipelines. Debug complex cross-process and network issues, define testing standards, conduct end-to-end integration and resilience testing, participate in on-call rotations, and lead incident post-mortems. Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver production-ready capabilities. Requires up to 25% international travel to the Middle East.

Lead security architecture for a secure multi-cluster service mesh platform. Design authentication, authorization, tenant isolation, encryption, credential lifecycle, and service-to-service trust. Establish secure development patterns, threat modeling, testing, security quality gates, incident response, vulnerability discovery, and compliance practices. Implement and review Go and gRPC security systems, mentor engineers, guide technical direction, and collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams. Requires international travel to the Middle East and geopolitical hot zones up to 25% annually.

Owns the architecture and implementation of high-performance real-time streaming systems, including media ingestion, buffering, relay, packetization, telemetry synchronization, and distribution. Designs protocol modules, resolves interoperability challenges, improves latency and throughput, and maintains production reliability through testing, observability, incident response, and automated deployments. Partners with stakeholders, documents architectural trade-offs, mentors engineers, leads technical rituals, and travels internationally up to 25% to support customer and mission requirements.

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on requirements. Design, code, debug, integrate software, document and test components, and develop data queries. Provide recommendations to improve processes and support system-level design decisions.

Assess and analyze complex network architectures and traffic (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN/SAN), use Wireshark/PCAP and NMS tools to identify vulnerabilities and patterns, document diagrams and findings, brief stakeholders, and rapidly learn new protocols to support network stability and security evaluations.

Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. Implement networking, VMs, IaC, and configuration management. Integrate Azure infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning with DevOps/GitHub Actions, and enforce security/compliance with security teams. Provide Windows Server administration and support enterprise cloud initiatives.

Design, train, fine-tune, deploy, and monitor Large Language Models for government mission applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure data preprocessing and model performance, present findings to stakeholders, and mentor junior data scientists.

Lead full-lifecycle integration delivery for sensors, C2, and operational feeds across on-prem and cloud environments. Perform continuous customer technical discovery, design and build custom connectors, manage platform orchestration, deploy and validate integrations in theater, triage cross-system failures, mentor engineers, and contribute integration patterns and runbooks. Frequent international travel and operation in constrained/defense environments required.

Design, implement, deploy, and validate data connectors and integration plugins for defense-related sources. Participate in customer discovery, configure platform nodes using Ansible/Helm, triage integration issues, and support international deployments and documentation under Senior IE guidance.
