Build and lead Orbis Operations’ Defense business development function. The role develops senior relationships across DoD and industry, identifies and wins opportunities, manages the full capture and sales lifecycle, establishes pipeline and CRM processes, structures strategic partnerships, and supports proposals and contract awards. The Director will provide market intelligence, shape requirements, represent Orbis at customer and industry engagements, and translate customer and competitive insights into Defense strategy.

Design, deploy, and sustain secure, highly available networks across classified, multi-domain, on-premises, cloud, and contested-edge environments. Configure routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances; monitor performance; resolve complex incidents; and lead root-cause analysis. Implement Zero Trust controls, support IRAP accreditation, mentor engineers, develop standards and disaster-recovery plans, and engage government customers on network requirements and incident response.

Maintains and reconciles general ledger, accounts payable, vendor records, bank accounts, and journal entries. Supports invoice processing, financial close activities, AP system implementation, audit documentation, and audit-ready recordkeeping. The role requires recent Deltek Costpoint experience and supports finance operations in a government contracting environment on a hybrid schedule in the Washington, DC Metro Area.
