Lead the Data Science function for an AI video product, setting priorities, guiding data scientists, analysts, and engineers, and solving high-impact analytical problems. Drive product, growth, experimentation, retention, monetization, and data-quality initiatives. Build reusable metrics, datasets, self-service tools, AI evaluation systems, and agentic analytics capabilities while partnering with Product, Growth, Finance, Engineering, and AI teams.

Own product and business metrics, improve data quality, validate reporting, and lead analyses across adoption, retention, segmentation, monetization, and LTV. Partner with Product, Finance, Engineering, and AI teams to define metrics, evaluate AI features, investigate data issues, support experimentation, and turn complex data into actionable recommendations.

Lead end-to-end product design for web and product surfaces: frame problems, create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UI. Partner with PMs, engineers, and AI researchers, prototype in code (HTML/CSS/Git), leverage AI tools and vibe-coding, set design systems, and drive projects autonomously from concept to launch.

Lead AI engineering efforts from model development through production deployment. Optimize inference latency, throughput, GPU utilization, quantization, and serving costs; design evaluation systems and data flywheels using user feedback. Apply LLMs and multimodal models to video understanding, curation, ranking, personalization, and editing. Set technical roadmaps, review architecture, mentor engineers, manage a small AI team, and balance quality, reliability, latency, and infrastructure cost.

Leads the Burnaby engineering organization of approximately 10 engineers, owning delivery, architecture, reliability, security outcomes, hiring, mentoring, performance management, and team growth. The role is a hands-on player-coach responsible for growth, pricing, monetization, data, enterprise delivery, and sensitive production systems. It also requires supporting dotted-line platform, SRE, security, and B2B teams while partnering with global engineering and product organizations.

Support AI product development by conducting user research, experimenting with LLMs and AI models, designing evaluations, translating insights into product requirements, and owning features through development, launch, and iteration using quantitative and qualitative signals.

Lead OpusClip’s brand and web evolution: define refreshed visual language, design and animate production-ready responsive pages, drive projects from concept to live launch, set visual guidelines, and use AI tooling to accelerate creative output.
