Responsibilities include mapping and redesigning investment processes, evaluating and implementing AI solutions, establishing governance, driving adoption and change management, and overseeing data and AI value-creation initiatives across portfolio companies. Develops value-realization frameworks, KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting for senior management and investment committees while coordinating investment, technology, risk, legal, finance, and compliance stakeholders.

Leads OPTrust’s private markets value creation function across private equity, infrastructure, and real estate investments. Builds and manages the value creation team, develops playbooks and operating frameworks, supports due diligence and investment decisions, creates onboarding and 100-day plans, oversees transformation initiatives, tracks portfolio performance, and advises portfolio company CEOs and boards. The role also leads governance, organizational capability, advisor management, and measurable financial and operational improvement initiatives across the global portfolio.

Lead fixed income (Canada & US) and global FX trading and portfolio strategies, execute derivative and cash trades, manage liability hedging and liquidity, build relationships with sell-side, produce trade and cost reporting, improve desk tools and processes, develop AI-enabled pricing/trading tools, coordinate with risk, finance, compliance and contribute to Total Fund initiatives.
