Design and prototype PCBs and electronics for electro-optical defence systems. Perform schematic capture, hardware debugging, EMC-aware design, component management, field trials support, and mentor junior engineers to deliver production-ready electronics.

Manage goods-in and goods-out for a manufacturing site: inspect and record incoming stock, check and reorder components, pick parts for assembly, package and dispatch items, and maintain accurate inventory records and systems to keep production supplied.

Design, develop and own real-time embedded C++ software and system architecture for electro-optical defence and surveillance systems. Collaborate with hardware, mechanical and systems engineers, manage full software lifecycle, perform code reviews, and deliver production releases in an R&D environment.

Provide hands-on technical support and integration assistance for defence software products. Debug and maintain existing C++/Linux codebases, diagnose networking and connectivity issues, collaborate with core engineering teams, guide customers through API integrations, improve support processes, and undertake occasional international on-site support.

Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound international shipments, coordinate freight forwarders and customs brokers, prepare export documentation, support export licensing and export control compliance (Military List/Dual-Use), administer ATA Carnets and dangerous goods shipments, maintain audit-ready records, and drive continuous improvement in logistics and trade compliance.

Lead and scale Production and Production Engineering functions to drive operational excellence, capacity planning, process improvement, quality and regulatory compliance. Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain and senior leadership on NPI, ERP/MRP and facility expansion while building high-performing teams, managing budgets and improving manufacturing systems to support growth in high-reliability defence products.
