Conduct market research and quantitative/qualitative analysis of investment funds and structured products. Collect, clean and maintain internal/external datasets, build dashboards and reports, monitor trends and risks, support policy projects and Division performance measurement, and present findings to management and external committees.

The Data Engineer collaborates with stakeholders to develop data solutions, optimize pipelines, manage data quality, and support analytical needs, focusing on capital markets data.

Lead and advance the OSC's enterprise compliance framework, advise senior leadership on ethics and conflicts, oversee employee personal trading program, manage monitoring, attestation and reporting, partner with Risk and Internal Audit, deliver training and briefing materials, and embed compliance practices across the organization.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative economic and market research to support OSC policy and regulatory work. Design studies, collect and analyze data using relational databases and modern data platforms, apply Python/R and ML techniques, and communicate findings via reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Lead and support investor-protection policy and regulatory initiatives, manage committee operations and funding requests, advise on securities issues affecting retail investors, engage stakeholders, monitor developments, and provide strategic legal analysis to senior leadership.
