The role requires sound clinical judgment, crisis management, organizational skills, electronic medical record proficiency, and the ability to perform physically demanding duties in a fast-paced Emergency Department.

Provides patient care in an emergency department under Registered Nurse direction. Responsibilities include collecting patient data, supporting treatment, maintaining patient safety and hygiene, applying infection-prevention practices, collaborating with patients, families, coworkers, and department staff, and using computer systems. The role requires compassionate service, effective communication, independent judgment, teamwork, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling.

Provides nursing support and direct patient care in a hospital emergency department under nursing supervision. Monitors patient conditions, collects care information, maintains records, assists with patient care, manages supplies and equipment, and maintains a clean, safe environment. Requires calm responses during emergencies, strong communication, organizational skills, teamwork, and proficiency with electronic records systems.
