The Assistant Manager - Sales is responsible for RFQ management, price negotiation, customer communication, sales documentation, and achieving budgeted sales, with a focus on the Indian automotive market.

The position involves customer interaction for technical data, BOM management, product specifications evaluation, and supplier coordination in an automotive engineering context.

Drive development and implementation of a global project controlling concept. Act as business partner to project teams, improve governance, processes and systems, support forecasting, budgeting and financial statements, customize financial systems, prepare documentation and trainings, and interface with global and regional controlling and functional heads.

Supervise production operations, achieve efficiency and plan-adherence KPIs, lead daily performance meetings, manage staffing and capacity plans, submit employee bonus data, support product launches and engineering changes, and drive continuous improvement. Participate in 8D, A3, and QRQC problem-solving related to customer complaints, quality alerts, and audits while promoting workplace discipline and company values.

The Global Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist conducts assessments, identifies compliance risks, advises management, develops customs guidelines, coordinates audits, and advises on customs systems, focusing on improving processes.

Manage and supervise plant launch activities across pre-SOP, SOP, and ramp-up. Coordinate industrialization of production lines, tooling, equipment, manpower and resources. Ensure launch timing aligns with customer requirements and plant capacity. Lead launch meetings, track and close actions, contain and resolve quality issues, and work with Quality, Engineering, and Production to implement sustainable corrective actions.

Manage strategic Tier 1 automotive accounts globally, developing account strategies, strengthening executive customer relationships, securing new business, and leading commercial negotiations. Drive profitability, revenue growth, risk mitigation, forecasts, and CRM opportunity tracking. Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product lifecycle management, and regional operations while addressing escalations and customer satisfaction. Analyze automotive market trends, technology developments, sustainability requirements, regulations, and competitors to identify growth opportunities. Deliver executive presentations, business cases, account reviews, and strategic recommendations.

Coordinate supplier and process quality activities including dimensional analysis, PPAP participation, FMEA input, supplier audits, corrective action management, quarantine and failure cost control, supplier development, and monthly supplier performance evaluations to ensure component and process compliance.

Prepare and perform group consolidation under HGB and IFRS (monthly, quarterly, annual). Produce internal reporting, ad-hoc analyses, and management reports. Reconcile balance sheet and P&L positions, resolve intercompany differences, and lead/process-improvement projects. Collaborate with group entities and maintain reliable consolidated financial data.

Processes orders, coordinates shipping with customers and carriers, plans material supply based on delivery dates and inventory, prepares shipping and customs documents, maintains ERP master data, and supports logistics process improvements. The role requires commercial training, initial logistics experience, knowledge of EDI and JIT/JIS processes, strong organization, teamwork, flexibility, and German and English proficiency.

Leads new product introduction projects from planning through mass-production handoff. Coordinates cross-functional teams, customers, and logistics; manages project schedules, SAP bills of materials and part numbers; oversees sample production, inspection, specifications, approvals, packing, shipping, and master sample retention. Prepares documentation for customer audits, addresses corrective actions, reviews drawings, tracks open issues, and ensures technical and timing requirements are met.

Manage daily payroll transactions and personnel incidents; act as SAP/Tress reporting contact; resolve employee payroll inquiries; administer benefits; support audits for accounting and social security compliance; and lead process improvements and automation for payroll/HR operations.

Develops and coordinates automotive manufacturing launches, including resources, budgets, project plans, timelines, rate-of-climb plans, and cost controls. Establishes manufacturing and assembly processes, machines, tools, PFMEA, process flows, and work instructions. Supports production efficiency, operator training, machine setup, quality issue resolution, and continuous process improvement while coordinating cross-functional launch activities.

The Equipment Engineer installs and accepts new production equipment, plans preventive maintenance based on equipment faults and tooling usage, and supports production, quality, and project teams with equipment, tooling, and fixture needs. The role manages equipment KPIs including MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and downtime; trains users on machine maintenance and operation; supports equipment improvements and problem solving; and reports equipment import progress and activities to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Provide operational support, administration and optimization of the SAP landscape (RISE). Monitor systems, manage incidents/changes/transports, handle user/authorization administration, coordinate external providers, support upgrades, performance and interface monitoring, and assist project rollouts.

Coordinate technical aspects of automotive wiring harness projects from design through mass production: client liaison, 3D/2D drawing review, BOM and DFMEA creation, quality root-cause analysis and corrective actions, engineering change management, PLM data control, and process/cost optimization.

Lead PMO governance for the Americas by developing and enforcing project governance frameworks, standards, and reporting. Drive process improvements, audits, training, and cross-functional alignment using automotive Core Tools and industry standards. Track performance metrics, present results to senior management, and foster continuous improvement across projects.
