Monitors, triages, diagnoses, and escalates security events within a security operations center. Supports remediation, security infrastructure and configuration changes, stakeholder coordination, and collaboration with IT and security teams. The role evaluates accounting standards and regulations, maintains finance applications, documents processes, and supports or reviews accounting analyses. It also requires advising, training, presenting information, and leading or reviewing others’ work.

Supervise project personnel and oversee capital projects from planning through completion. Manage budgets, forecasts, risks, contracts, site readiness, construction progress, permitting, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Support utility infrastructure projects involving pipeline construction, MEP planning, surveying, estimating, and regulatory requirements. Coach direct reports, improve processes, and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, government agencies, vendors, and customers. Travel throughout the service area to offices, job sites, and meetings.

Participate in IT projects, analyze requirements or data, explore and prototype solutions, test and deploy technology, shadow IT professionals, learn IT processes, collaborate with business groups, and present project findings at the internship’s conclusion.

Supports month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Assists with financial analysis, spreadsheet modeling, variance analyses, regulatory and governmental reports, financial statements, and financial metrics reporting. Interns gain hands-on experience with corporate accounting software, collaborate across departments, and participate in professional networking activities.

Leads the design, analysis, implementation, governance, and improvement of compensation programs. Advises executives and HR leaders on pay strategy, job architecture, market pricing, pay equity, incentives, and regulatory compliance. Develops executive recommendations, financial analyses, and compensation materials; leads enterprise-wide initiatives; improves processes and reporting; delivers compensation education; and mentors HR staff. Requires extensive compensation expertise, strategic consulting ability, analytical and financial modeling skills, and executive communication experience.

Supports ONE Gas corporate communications through writing and editing internal and external materials, media relations, web and social media content, storytelling, publications, and stakeholder communications. Collaborates with subject matter experts and team leaders to develop digital content and communications supporting corporate strategies. The hybrid internship includes cross-department projects, networking opportunities, and professional development.

This summer HR internship supports process innovation, change management, HR strategic initiatives, employee engagement, and corporate business functions. The intern will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and professionals across departments, build HR and business skills, contribute to impactful projects, and participate in networking activities with peers and leadership. The role is hybrid and runs full-time from June 1 through August 6, 2027.
