Gas industry construction experience and OSHA and Pipeline Safety knowledge are preferred.

Supports engineering design, operation, and maintenance activities for natural gas pipeline and storage systems. Assists with project coordination, bids, contracts, line extensions, construction and relocation projects, pipeline modeling, database analyses, growth planning, emergency valve isolation plans, engineering studies, reports, job orders, and purchase requisitions. Collaborates with regional teams, departments, contractors, regulators, customers, and management.

Performs entry-level engineering support for natural gas pipeline and storage systems, including MAOP records verification, reconfirmation projects, material verification, documentation review, pipeline modeling, design assistance, regulatory support, and project coordination. Reviews engineering studies, contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports; supports construction and relocation projects; advises stakeholders; and develops technical documentation while maintaining strong safety, ethical, communication, and teamwork standards.

This summer HR internship supports process innovation, change management, HR strategic initiatives, employee engagement, and corporate business functions. The intern will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and professionals across departments, build HR and business skills, contribute to impactful projects, and participate in networking activities with peers and leadership. The role is hybrid and runs full-time from June 1 through August 6, 2027.

Leads project development, evaluates costs, negotiates installation agreements, resolves field challenges, and communicates status to internal and external partners. Serves as a resource for complex projects and represents the company in civic and professional organizations.

Develops residential, commercial, and industrial market growth for a natural gas utility. Builds relationships with developers, architects, engineers, construction firms, and other stakeholders; originates business opportunities; implements sales and customer engagement strategies; analyzes rates, usage, and market trends; prepares service proposals; and presents information to prospects. The role also monitors territory growth, coordinates with internal teams, and requires travel to company locations and external meetings.

Participate in IT projects, analyze requirements or data, explore and prototype solutions, test and deploy technology, shadow IT professionals, learn IT processes, collaborate with business groups, and present project findings at the internship’s conclusion.

Supports month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Leads the development, implementation, and growth of customer affordability and energy assistance programs across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Builds community and stakeholder partnerships, develops customer outreach and education initiatives, promotes natural gas adoption, presents program strategies, hosts events, monitors performance, and supports competitive threat mitigation. May train team members and lead projects or functional teams.

Leads communications for Oklahoma by serving as company spokesperson, developing reputation and crisis communications plans, securing earned media, and advising leaders on operational, regulatory, and reputational issues. Drafts audience-focused messaging, monitors media and stakeholder sentiment, identifies emerging risks, manages cross-functional initiatives, engages community stakeholders, and supports communications during service issues and outages.

Manages accounting and financial reporting functions, including financial statement preparation, SEC filings, GAAP and FERC compliance, SOX controls, reconciliations, journal entries, consolidations, and technical accounting research. Supervises accounting staff, evaluates processes and internal controls, implements accounting standards and process improvements, supports audits and regulatory interactions, and provides financial information for management decisions.

Oversee pipeline equipment installation, inspections, repairs, safety compliance, emergency response, employee training, customer and contractor communications, reporting, documentation, and budget recommendations.
