Teams at ONE Gas, Inc.

Performs maintenance and operational duties at transmission pipelines, compressor stations, and related equipment. Responds to the McPherson service center within 30 minutes and follows safety and pipeline procedures. Requires physical ability, shift and emergency availability, rotating callouts, and overtime. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a CDL. Gas industry construction experience and OSHA and Pipeline Safety knowledge are preferred.

Supports engineering design, operation, and maintenance activities for natural gas pipeline and storage systems. Assists with project coordination, bids, contracts, line extensions, construction and relocation projects, pipeline modeling, database analyses, growth planning, emergency valve isolation plans, engineering studies, reports, job orders, and purchase requisitions. Collaborates with regional teams, departments, contractors, regulators, customers, and management.

Performs entry-level engineering support for natural gas pipeline and storage systems, including MAOP records verification, reconfirmation projects, material verification, documentation review, pipeline modeling, design assistance, regulatory support, and project coordination. Reviews engineering studies, contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports; supports construction and relocation projects; advises stakeholders; and develops technical documentation while maintaining strong safety, ethical, communication, and teamwork standards.
