Own Ollama’s developer relations strategy and execution by engaging developer communities, partnering with model labs and hardware companies, creating technical content, gathering user feedback, and delivering demos at meetups and conferences. The role combines hands-on engineering with public-facing communication, including code, tutorials, technical blog posts, videos, and social content built around open models.

Own go-to-market strategy for models, features, and major releases. Develop positioning and messaging, create launch materials such as blog posts, landing pages, demos, and videos, and refine communications using user feedback and market trends. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, influence product direction, and support launches with research partners while communicating technical concepts clearly to developers.

Build and refine Ollama’s desktop app, CLI, onboarding, APIs, and integrations with developer tools and agent harnesses. Develop native, backend, and web systems supporting local and cloud models, test complete user workflows, improve compatibility, and partner with model and inference engineers to ship reliable product experiences.

Build and scale Ollama’s cloud inference platform, including high-throughput serving, GPU and regional workload routing, multi-tenant infrastructure, quotas, metering, billing, tiering, reliability, observability, and cost controls. The role requires production ownership of distributed systems and familiarity with Kubernetes, GPU scheduling, inference infrastructure, reliability practices, SLOs, and capacity planning.

Build and automate developer support systems, own the support queue, troubleshoot issues across platforms, engage with the open-source community, fix bugs in Ollama, and create diagnostics, dashboards, documentation, and error-message improvements. The role combines software engineering, user support, debugging, and developer experience work.

Develop and optimize Ollama’s local runtime for open-model inference across macOS, Linux, and Windows. Responsibilities include model loading, scheduling, memory management, quantization, GPU backends, model architecture integrations, and performance improvements. The role involves Go and C/C++ development, close-to-the-metal systems work, profiling, hardware optimization, open-source collaboration, and partnerships with model labs and hardware vendors.

Serve as a founding Account Executive, helping customers adopt Ollama’s team and enterprise plans. Represent customer needs internally, partner with product and engineering on ROI cases, and influence pricing, packaging, and features. Build the sales playbook, collateral, and CRM processes from scratch while developing an enterprise sales motion that complements bottoms-up developer adoption.

Build the systems and automation supporting Ollama’s go-to-market motion. Instrument the customer funnel, connect CRM, analytics, billing, and communication tools, create internal GTM workflows, run conversion experiments, and use data to improve sales and customer engineering processes. The role partners across sales, product, customer engineering, and product marketing while shipping full-stack tools and data pipelines in a fast-moving environment.
