Stage management apprentices support professional stage managers throughout rehearsals, technical rehearsals, production meetings, understudy rehearsals, show calling observation, and backstage operations. The role is a full-time commitment of five to six days per week during the 2027 winter season. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate a strong interest in professional stage management.

Processes ticket orders and subscriptions, runs reports, oversees special projects, trains and mentors ticket services representatives, handles customer relations, and performs administrative duties. The role supports the Ticket Services Director and Assistant Director while requiring strong ticketing, customer service, organizational, computer, and Excel skills. Evening and weekend availability and successful background screening are required.

Supports nonprofit theatre financial operations through accounts payable review, journal entries, monthly close, account reconciliations, tax and union payment reporting, payroll support, audits, tax filings, and financial reporting. Provides day-to-day guidance to the Accounts Payable Assistant while maintaining financial controls and accurate records.

Provides phone and in-person customer service to theatre patrons by processing ticket purchases, exchanges, subscriptions, and transactions; distributing will-call tickets; explaining seating, productions, policies, and offerings; and assisting customers on performance days. Requires evening and weekend availability, strong communication and computer skills, customer service experience, background-check completion, and commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, access, and anti-racism.
