Perform molecular and immunological experiments to functionally characterize non-coding GWAS variants in SLE. Use CRISPR genome editing, reporter and splicing assays, RNA-seq, flow cytometry, and other genomics techniques; collaborate with computational biologists, analyze data, and contribute to publications and grants.

Provide high-quality clinical care for patients with systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases, support patient participation in cohorts and trials, collaborate in a multidisciplinary clinic, use OMRF core research facilities, pursue patient-oriented research and extramural funding, and receive startup and salary support.

Coordinate and manage a multi-lab, multi-year Alzheimer's research project including budgets, animal colonies, regulatory compliance, inventories, protocols, data analysis, reporting, meetings, and contributions to publications and grants. Supervise specialized experiments and ensure project milestones and standards are met.

Conduct and manage research on neuronal mitochondria using animal models and molecular and imaging techniques; supervise and train lab personnel; maintain protocols, supplies, and equipment; contribute to publications, grants, and collaborations.

Perform in vivo studies linking T cell metabolic stress to tissue inflammation and cancer using histology, microscopy, flow cytometry, mouse models, and multi-omics analyses to define mechanisms and disease progression.

Responsibilities include experimental design, data analysis, digital record keeping, collaboration, manuscript and conference preparation, and pursuing external funding with PI support.

Lead independent and collaborative projects on ovarian and brain aging, inflammation, and neurodegeneration. Design and perform experiments using mouse models, histology, immunostaining, flow cytometry, molecular assays, and sequencing. Analyze single-cell and multi-omic datasets, prepare manuscripts, grants, and presentations, and mentor junior trainees while contributing to a collaborative lab environment.

Provide grant and fiscal administration for multiple PIs: monthly reconciliations, budget development and forecasting, personnel effort reporting, post-award monitoring, federal and non-federal proposal submission (NIH, DoD), regulatory correspondence (IRB/IACUC), document formatting/editing, travel and event coordination, and general executive administrative support for clinical credentialing and compliance.

Assist with clinical research in autoimmunity by recruiting and screening participants, conducting research visits, collecting and entering study data, and performing other assigned duties during a flexible summer schedule.

Provide administrative support to the Arthritis & Clinical Immunology department: mail handling, scanning, copying, filing, data entry and record maintenance, phone answering and routing, and other assigned clerical tasks. Work collaboratively and independently to support research operations during the summer.

Mentored postdoctoral position to design and conduct immunology research on autoimmune disease and inflammation. Responsibilities include experimental design, data analysis, manuscript and report preparation, project management, presentations, and contributing to grant writing.
