Conduct molecular immunology and functional genomics research on lupus-associated non-coding genetic variants. Responsibilities include molecular biology experiments, CRISPR genome editing, gene expression and chromatin assays, immune cell culture, flow cytometry, immunological functional studies, and data analysis. The scientist will collaborate with computational biologists integrating GWAS, functional genomics, and AI-based predictions, while contributing to publications and grant applications.

Hands-on postbaccalaureate research position supporting chromosome dynamics studies. Duties include learning molecular genetics techniques, cell-free extracts, live-cell imaging, protein purification, conducting guided experiments, maintaining digital records, preparing lab stocks, and presenting research with mentorship for graduate/professional school preparation.
