Provides personal, restorative, and daily living care to residents in a post-acute healthcare setting. Responsibilities include orienting residents to facility services, responding promptly to call bells and alarms, assisting with resident needs, and communicating concerns to the Charge Nurse. Participants work as Care Assistants while completing a free five-week Nurse Aide training program, then may advance to Nurse Aide or Certified Nurse Aide after completing the required examination.

Provides personal, restorative, and daily living care to residents; orients residents to facility routines, responds promptly to calls and alarms, assists families, and communicates concerns to the Charge Nurse. The role includes concurrent employment as a Care Assistant while completing a five-week, in-person Nurse Aide training program, followed by promotion to Nurse Aide or CNA after completion and a scheduled Prometric exam.

Coordinates Minimum Data Set assessments, care plans, care conferences, and electronic MDS transmission for nursing facility residents. Leads interdisciplinary RAI processes, reviews documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports accurate reimbursement and resident-centered care. Requires an accredited nursing education, at least one year of professional nursing experience, an active Hawaii LPN license, and RAC-CT certification.
