Requires government relations experience, legislative campaign execution, strong communication, organization, autonomy, and willingness to travel.

Build and maintain resilient backend systems supporting high-throughput data review and annotation pipelines. Design clean APIs and abstractions, improve performance and reliability, apply security and privacy controls, and collaborate with product, ML, and operations teams. Contribute to architecture and design reviews, write tested maintainable code, and provide thoughtful code reviews. The role supports machine learning feedback loops and operational workflows.

Own the production embedded vision stack for AI-assisted traffic cameras, covering image capture, media pipelines, edge inference, device services, observability, fleet releases, and cloud interfaces. Design reliable systems for constrained environments, lead incident response and root-cause analysis, make cross-functional architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and establish standards for performance, security, testing, and maintainability.

Own Obvio’s editorial strategy, company collateral, website and landing-page content, social channels, long-form publications, and content distribution. Translate complex AI, traffic safety, hardware, and civic policy topics into clear content for public-sector and enterprise audiences. Collaborate with Sales, Product, Policy, and leadership while optimizing SEO, conversion, pipeline generation, and brand engagement through analytics.

Build and maintain backend distributed systems supporting high-throughput data review and annotation workflows. Design reliable, observable, secure systems with fine-grained access controls, auditable workflows, clean APIs, and resilient failure recovery. Collaborate with product, machine learning, and operations teams to improve feedback loops, participate in architecture decisions, and write well-tested maintainable code.

Build and operate secure, scalable backend APIs and platform services for ticketing, citations, violations, and payments. Improve system tenancy and isolation, make pragmatic architectural trade-offs, respond to production incidents, improve reliability, and partner with Product. Mentor engineers, document technical decisions, and maintain high standards for design and execution.

Develop and improve computer vision models for object detection and multi-object tracking in real-world traffic environments. Own data strategy, experimentation, evaluation, reproducible training pipelines, model deployment validation, and continuous improvement. Optimize models for edge devices while balancing accuracy, latency, memory, and power constraints. Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, and production-readiness standards.

Own the transition from outsourced to in-house accounting, including system implementation, chart of accounts design, close, reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, revenue recognition, financial reporting, internal controls, audit preparation, and multi-jurisdiction tax compliance. Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations on municipal contracts, revenue-share arrangements, unit economics, and investor reporting while building scalable accounting processes.

Own the full sales cycle for Obvio’s AI-assisted traffic enforcement solutions across a national territory. Sell to state and local government agencies, navigate complex procurement and buying committees, build customer business cases, support pilots, and develop executive relationships. The role also contributes to sales playbooks, messaging, forecasting, pipeline management, and go-to-market processes while collaborating with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership.

Reviews and annotates video footage to identify traffic events and potential violations, verifies detailed incident data, follows strict confidentiality protocols, and provides feedback to improve annotation tools and processes. The role requires careful attention to detail, accurate data review, timely completion of work, and collaboration in training and team meetings. This is a full-time, on-site position in Salt Lake City with occasional overtime.

The Account Executive will drive revenue in the DMV region, managing the full sales cycle for Obvio AI's traffic law enforcement solutions, particularly for government and public sector entities.
