Lead the firm’s regulatory compliance program as registered Chief Compliance Officer under Canadian securities regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining policies and supervisory frameworks, conducting compliance monitoring and risk assessments, coordinating regulatory reporting and examinations, overseeing AML-related processes, managing remediation, delivering training, and advising executives and the Board. The role also oversees KYC, suitability, conflicts, complaints, disclosures, marketing review, personal trading, outsourcing, governance, and regulatory relationships.

Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade Angular web applications; build reusable components; integrate with RESTful APIs; optimize performance and responsiveness; ensure security, accessibility and regulatory compliance; participate in code reviews, troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Design, build and maintain secure, scalable back-end services with Java and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture. Manage complex ICT projects end-to-end: plan scope, schedules, budgets; provide technical oversight; coordinate resources and vendors; manage stakeholders, risks, quality, testing, go-live and closure to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Develop, test, support and deploy the eXimius Back Office Wealth Management application. Analyze client specifications, estimate and build software changes, manage defects, respond to support tickets, assist customers, perform system administration, and participate in Scrum and UAT activities.

Execute system testing for eXimius Back Office Wealth Management and Stock Broking applications within an Agile/Scrum environment. Create test plans, estimate work, perform solution and system testing, manage defects, and engage with clients. Participate in CI/configuration management and use JIRA for issue tracking.

Lead and define test strategy, automation frameworks, and CI/CD quality gates across web (Angular/TypeScript/Java) and native mobile (iOS/Android). Coach squads, run Three Amigos, design regression and release checklists, own mobile device/OS coverage, and improve testing workflows and defect management to ensure high-quality fintech software delivery.

Hybrid development and application support role rotating between coding and customer support. Produce specifications, perform unit testing, assist with technical specs, and support Objectway products. Work closely with business analysts, QA, project managers and support teams; occasional client-site visits required.
