Partner with autonomy engineers, technical program managers, and leadership to manage risks, decisions, tradeoffs, and progress across complex initiatives.

Lead technical execution for Nuro’s robotaxi partnership, coordinating autonomy, hardware, AI platform, business, and external partner teams. Own launch and scale-up critical paths across multiple cities, including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions. Drive cross-functional problem resolution, communicate progress to leaders, build partner relationships, and use data to measure program performance.

Design and implement automated verification and validation pipelines, unified triage workflows, and testing tools for autonomous driving systems. Lead root cause analysis, identify testing gaps, translate them into technical requirements, and collaborate with Simulation, Data Platform, and Infrastructure teams. Provide technical guidance, code review, and documentation while generating safety-case evidence through scalable, data-driven testing processes.

Design and deploy production controls software for Level 4 autonomous vehicles. Develop control strategies connecting planning and vehicle systems across parking lots, highways, weather conditions, and varied road surfaces. Integrate controls with new vehicle platforms, apply classical, modern, and machine-learning control methods, and collaborate with autonomy, hardware, testing, and systems teams while following ISO 26262 safety standards.

Own cross-functional technical programs supporting AI platform reliability and driverless readiness. Manage systems verification and validation tooling, reliability metrics, execution plans, issue triage, dependencies, and risk assessments. Coordinate AI Platform, Systems, Hardware, Autonomy, and Vehicle Operations teams; translate field failures into engineering priorities; improve testing, troubleshooting, intervention, and recovery workflows; and report progress to leadership.

The role requires expertise in vehicle dynamics, classical and modern controls, embedded C/C++, automated driving systems, and functional safety standards. Engineers collaborate with OEMs and cross-functional teams to define requirements and achieve safety, performance, quality, and drivability targets.

Lead a team of 4–5 recruiters while personally managing senior technical searches across machine learning, autonomy, robotics, systems engineering, controls, and localization. Partner with engineering leaders and the co-CEO on hiring strategy, market mapping, role definition, interview processes, funnel metrics, and competitive offer closing. Build quarterly hiring plans, coach recruiters, improve recruiting operations, and help establish a high-performing technical recruiting function.

Develop real-time vehicle pose estimation software for autonomous mobile robots. Research and deploy robust, fail-operational estimation algorithms; analyze accuracy and performance; build tested C/C++ software for robotic platforms and simulation; and collaborate on sensor architecture across autonomy, hardware, and systems teams.

The role spans perception, planning, and control, with emphasis on high-precision, low-latency systems, rare-event validation, ML-based perception, object tracking, data curation, and compute optimization. Candidates will deploy robotics software and contribute to safety-critical parallel autonomy systems.

Lead development of robotics-based safety protections for an autonomous driving stack. Own motion-planning software, investigate and resolve real-world autonomy issues, and manage testing and deployment. Lead and grow a technical team while collaborating with AI modeling, evaluation, systems, and operations teams. The role requires hands-on expertise in safety-critical planning, controls, optimization, robotics deployment, and data-driven and model-based methods.

Leads end-to-end regulatory reporting programs, translating legal and compliance obligations into plans, workflows, quality controls, documentation, and timely submissions. Coordinates with Public Trust, Legal, Data Platform, Safety, and Software Operations teams; manages risks, reviews reporting materials, maintains audit trails, and communicates status to technical, legal, and executive stakeholders.

Build scalable infrastructure-as-code and Kubernetes deployment solutions, automate developer experience and infrastructure reliability, and create observability systems for monitoring production health and performance. Collaborate cross-functionally to align infrastructure solutions with customer needs. The role involves developing and maintaining production systems in public cloud environments, with opportunities to work on distributed applications, cloud networking, software architecture, and security automation.

Leads and develops the AI Platform technical program management team while directly owning complex, cross-functional programs. Drives platform roadmaps, resolves technical and organizational dependencies, coordinates integration and deployment readiness, manages external partners, and improves execution through metrics, planning processes, and automation.

Senior Employment Counsel will lead Nuro’s employment law function, advising on employee lifecycle matters, policies, compliance, litigation, investigations, wage and hour issues, international workforce growth, mobility, immigration, privacy, compensation, and employee relations. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and partners closely with People, Operations, and business leaders to support a rapidly growing global workforce.
