Guide Linux, bare-metal, networking, and hardware configuration while partnering across engineering, SRE, hardware, and data science teams. Lead platform architecture, roadmap, resource allocation, and technical trade-off decisions across hardware generations.

Develop collision avoidance and detection software for Nuro’s autonomous driving platform. The role spans perception, planning, and control, with emphasis on high-precision, low-latency systems, rare-event validation, ML-based perception, object tracking, data curation, and compute optimization. Candidates will deploy robotics software and contribute to safety-critical parallel autonomy systems.

Build and ship full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, fleet-monitoring tools, routing systems, and simulation infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. Product Engineers own features end-to-end, collaborate with Product, UX, Operations, and engineering teams, and contribute to scalable software across frontend, backend, cloud, and onboard vehicle systems.

Lead development of robotics-based safety protections for an autonomous driving stack. Own motion-planning software, investigate and resolve real-world autonomy issues, and manage testing and deployment. Lead and grow a technical team while collaborating with AI modeling, evaluation, systems, and operations teams. The role requires hands-on expertise in safety-critical planning, controls, optimization, robotics deployment, and data-driven and model-based methods.

The role requires end-to-end product ownership, strong GCP experience, system design expertise, and technical leadership through mentoring and architectural decision-making.

Create and publish social content across major platforms, translate technical concepts into engaging stories, support community management and social listening, track performance metrics, engage creators, and maintain content calendars and publishing workflows. The role requires strong writing, design, video editing, visual storytelling, platform knowledge, organization, and sound judgment. This is a full-time, three-month internship with potential extension.

Develop and test safety-critical embedded C software for multicore automotive microcontrollers, including RTOS components, drivers, middleware, bootloaders, actuator interfaces, and fault management. Integrate autonomy software with vehicle platforms using CAN and Ethernet, perform vehicle bring-up and debugging, maintain verification infrastructure, and work within ISO 26262 processes. Leads Nuro’s Software Operations organization, overseeing AI training and evaluation data, autonomy regression analysis, release validation, operational KPIs, and root-cause investigations. Manages large-scale data-labeling vendors, including quality, throughput, SLAs, budgets, and pricing. Partners with engineering, machine learning, data science, simulation, and product teams to build evaluation datasets, improve autonomy performance, and scale operational processes and teams.

Senior Commercial Counsel will lead complex commercial transactions, including drafting, negotiating, and managing agreements involving technology, IP, SaaS, partnerships, supply chain, and services. The role advises cross-functional teams on legal risk, supports privacy and marketing matters, implements a contract lifecycle management system, improves contracting workflows, and trains business teams. Candidates need substantial technology-sector legal experience, strong negotiation and judgment, and admission to at least one state bar.

Drive system-level safety architecture and requirements for autonomous vehicle hardware and firmware. Develop functional safety and SOTIF concepts, safety mechanisms, fault strategies, and safety requirements. Lead HARA, FMEA, FTA, and DFA analyses; collaborate with hardware, controls, and embedded software teams; support SIL/HIL and on-road validation; analyze test data; and maintain safety-case arguments and residual-risk assessments.
