Lead JWJSF as its Executive Director by setting strategy and campaigns, driving fundraising, building and managing coalition relationships, supervising staff (3-5), overseeing finances and governance, and representing the organization in media and movement spaces to grow worker-led power and campaigns for economic and social justice.

Serve as primary spokesperson, build coalitions, shape policy campaigns, manage staff and budget, report to the Board, and ensure equitable, community-driven clean energy transition efforts across California.

The Media Director will develop and implement media strategies to enhance visibility and engagement for Working America, focusing on diverse community storytelling and data-driven marketing initiatives while managing the media team.

Lead delivery and design of Legal Links Legal First Aid certification trainings (virtual and in-person), develop accessible, legally accurate curriculum, support network engagement and legal consults for frontline providers, track training outcomes, assist with funder reporting, and contribute to statewide training efforts. Travel occasionally for in-person events.

Lead financial strategy and operations for a $5.1M nonprofit, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, grants management, compliance, audits, reporting, financial systems, and a finance team; partner with executive leadership and Board Finance Committee to ensure strong internal controls and financial sustainability.

Lead strategy and execution for individual and major donor fundraising. Manage a portfolio of 75–125 donors, cultivate and solicit five-figure gifts, steward supporters, plan campaigns and events, strengthen development systems, and supervise the Development Associate while partnering with senior leadership and the Board to grow revenue.
