The role is remote, union-represented, and requires up to 15% domestic travel.

Leads Friends of the Earth’s Climate & Biodiversity portfolio, shaping organizational strategy, advocacy campaigns, fundraising, partnerships, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversees program directors and senior staff, advances climate policy, fossil fuel phaseout, biodiversity protection, and environmental governance initiatives, and represents the organization with funders, policymakers, coalitions, media, and external stakeholders. Partners with executive leadership and the board to strengthen organizational effectiveness, collaboration, equity, and measurable program impact.

Leads integrated communications and audience engagement strategies for two nonprofit organizations. Oversees brand, content, digital channels, executive and event communications, media relations, crisis planning, vendors, staff supervision, and performance measurement. Advises leadership, translates complex policy issues into compelling messaging, strengthens organizational visibility, and builds relationships with media, funders, policymakers, advocates, and partners.
