Lead customer experience and community engagement for NORY families. Provide direct support via phone, email, and chat, recruit and manage a support teammate, collect family feedback to improve programs, oversee customer operations and reporting, and drive strategic initiatives like partnerships, events, and enrollment optimization.

The Summer Operations Intern will assist with camp logistics, staffing, and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth camp experience for children at an education startup.

The Summer Camp Site Coordinator oversees camp operations, supports staff, teaches engaging STEM activities, and builds relationships with campers and families.

Support camp operations by assisting with materials, inventory, staffing, scheduling, and administrative tasks. Manage registrations, produce reports, maintain calendars and office inventory, draft correspondence and contracts, and help ensure smooth logistics for large-scale STEM camp programs.

Prepare, sort, assemble, pack, and inventory specialized STEM arts, crafts, and engineering kits. Maintain a clean, organized central workspace, assist with localized material shipments and pick-ups, support daily camp operations, and perform physical tasks including lifting and tool use after training.

Manage end-to-end permit applications and renewals for ~8 NYC summer camp sites: prepare and submit NYC DOH/FDNY documentation, track statuses and inspections, maintain digital records, coordinate with Site Directors and internal teams, and support compliance and inspections during the summer season.

Source passive candidates and write tailored outreach; manage inbound applications across LinkedIn, Indeed, and Ashby; run first-round screens using a structured rubric; track recruiting metrics weekly; coordinate scheduling with hiring managers; and maintain a warm bench of strong candidates.

Lead and support camp operations and instruction: teach assigned campers, coach and train teachers, manage materials and schedules, engage families, and ensure safety, fun, and NORY core values are upheld daily.

Lead and manage a summer camp site: coach and train counselors, nurture campers and families, oversee daily operations and facilities, maintain administrative records, and step in to teach when needed to ensure a safe, high-quality STEM camp experience.

Serve as the CEOxtension to drive execution across the organization: represent the CEO, translate strategy into concrete plans, manage calendar and information flow, track decisions to closure, lead cross-functional initiatives (hiring, onboarding, SOPs, reporting), and make priority tradeoffs with authority. Requires building scalable systems, strong judgment, high agency, and on-site presence in New York.

Design, implement, and maintain Airtable and Zapier automations to streamline program management (attendance, staffing, KPIs). Audit and troubleshoot workflows, optimize processes, document systems, train staff, and research integration improvements to reduce manual work and downtime.
