Supports the HR team with employee leave administration, including FMLA and Workers’ Compensation tracking, documentation, and employee communication. Escalates complex employee concerns appropriately and provides administrative support across the department.

The Project Metallurgist leads metallurgical projects and processing improvements at a remote gold mining operation. Responsibilities include optimizing grinding, flotation, gravity, CIL, and elution circuits; conducting plant investigations and metallurgical test work; improving recovery, throughput, and costs; maintaining plant control systems; collaborating with suppliers; and advising processing operations and plant metallurgists.

Supports recruitment, onboarding, pre-employment checks, employee documentation, HR records, and candidate communications. Coordinates with hiring managers, Payroll, IT, Security, and other departments while maintaining confidentiality and accurate ATS, HRIS, and personnel records. Tracks recruitment and onboarding metrics, audits records, supports workforce reporting and HR projects, and recommends process improvements. This full-time role is office-based in Fairbanks, Alaska, with occasional travel to the Pogo Mine site or other locations.

Manages site services contracts, including camp services and transportation, while overseeing contractor performance, tenders, purchase orders, invoicing, audits, and service improvements. Supervises the site administration team, coordinates camp occupancy and maintenance issues, supports training and site systems, and leads employee events and communications. The role requires contract administration, project coordination, data analysis, Microsoft Office proficiency, and occasional travel to the Pogo mine site.

Two-year graduate program applying metallurgy and materials or chemistry education in a remote gold-processing operation. The role develops expertise in grinding, gravity concentration, flotation, leaching, and filtering while providing exposure to operations, maintenance, and mining departments. Responsibilities include completing metallurgical duties, analyzing process data, solving problems, communicating effectively, and working independently on a rotating onsite schedule.
