Administer employee leave and benefits programs, including FMLA, workers’ compensation, benefits enrollment, 401(k) support, HRIS processes, and compliance activities. Advise employees and leaders, coordinate with insurers and benefits providers, maintain confidential records, prepare reports, support training, process invoices, and identify process improvements. The role is based in Fairbanks with regular travel to the remote Pogo Mine site.

Provides project management and engineering support for underground mining infrastructure projects across feasibility, design, permitting, procurement, execution, commissioning, and optimization. Manages contractors, budgets, schedules, capital expenditure requests, regulatory compliance, engineering standards, and operational support. The role works on a 21-days-on, 21-days-off rotational schedule at a remote Alaska mine site and requires engineering or equivalent experience, underground operations exposure, communication skills, computer literacy, and a driver’s license.

Leads processing plant maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability, shutdowns, and capital project execution. Establishes disciplined work-management cycles, improves preventive-maintenance compliance, controls backlog, monitors maintenance KPIs, and drives defect elimination and critical-asset reliability. Provides leadership and coaching to planners, reliability engineers, supervisors, and maintenance teams while coordinating with operations, supply, contractors, and site stakeholders at a remote mining camp.
