Provides clerical, patient-care, communication, supply, and unit-support services in a surgical/trauma intensive care unit. Duties include obtaining vital signs, assisting with mobility and hygiene, monitoring intake and output, responding to call lights, documenting patient information in the EMR, transporting patients, preparing rooms, maintaining charts and supplies, and reporting patient or equipment changes to nursing staff.

A 12-month residency program for Licensed Practical Nurses with less than one year of acute-care experience.
