Provide full-cycle HR support including salaried recruitment, employee relations and investigations, policy and collective agreement interpretation, onboarding, workforce planning, compensation and benefits guidance, and learning and development initiatives. Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers in a fast-paced, project-driven construction environment.

Coordinate mechanical aspects of construction projects: prepare start-up packages, review drawings/specs, ensure technical compliance, manage change orders, support purchasing and vendor/subcontractor coordination, produce status reports, and uphold HSE requirements.

Coordinate fulfillment of site equipment requisitions, manage inventory and preventative maintenance, source and negotiate purchases and rentals, coordinate deliveries and documentation, maintain asset records, liaise with suppliers, project teams, legal and risk, and support estimating and reporting.

Provide HSE guidance and oversight for construction projects, lead hazard assessments, training, inspections and incident investigations, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, report HSE metrics, and support HSE continuous improvement.

Support project manager by coordinating electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning activities for water/wastewater construction projects. Manage RFIs, submittals, change management, bill of materials, equipment control logs, and schedule integration. Assist commissioning manager with procedures, checklists, and testing. Liaise with stakeholders and support field teams while adhering to HSE policies.

Support project manager by coordinating electrical work on construction projects: review drawings/specs, manage purchasing and change orders, assist vendor/subcontractor awards, prepare electrical/commissioning schedule data, communicate with site teams, and support field start-up and commissioning while adhering to HSE policies.

Assist journeyperson millwright with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing stationary machinery and mechanical equipment on a construction site. Operate levels, hoisting equipment, set pumps, handle materials, read mechanical blueprints, follow safety procedures, and direct apprentices as needed.
