Develop and maintain Java-based automated testing solutions for federal applications. Builds agency relationships, supports task-order proposals, tracks pipeline metrics, and advises executive leadership. This individual contributor role collaborates with technical, proposal, and senior leadership teams in a hybrid Fairfax, Virginia environment.

Serve as the technical authority for IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite architecture, design, integration, governance, data management, modernization, and optimization. Lead enterprise asset management solutions, data migrations, integrations, cloud and infrastructure architecture, security, technical roadmaps, architecture reviews, and stakeholder workshops. Provide technical guidance to development and support teams while ensuring scalable, secure, compliant, and high-performing federal client environments.

Serves as Niyam’s senior geospatial engineering authority, defining GIS strategy, reference architectures, engineering standards, and cloud-native geospatial platforms. Leads solution architecture and delivery across federal contracts, supports proposals and captures, resolves complex technical risks, and drives AI/ML-enabled geospatial innovation. Represents the company through publications, conferences, and client engagements while mentoring engineers and contributing to reusable technical standards and assets.

Configure, maintain, and support IBM Maximo/MAS applications, implement enhancements using Maximo tools, perform testing, troubleshoot configuration defects, support data imports/exports, assist with reporting and documentation, and follow IT governance and change management.

Serve as the technical lead for an Agile product team, defining and evolving scalable, secure product architecture. Design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based enterprise solutions; guide development, integration, testing, deployment, and modernization. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, lead architecture and code reviews, address security and performance risks, create roadmaps and documentation, and mentor developers and testers.

Evaluate requirements, validate solutions through user feedback and testing, support Agile delivery, resolve issues, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members. The role requires balancing creative design expertise with technical knowledge of modern web application technologies.
