Designs and oversees arts education programming for birth-to-five children. Develops curriculum and supporting resources, trains and mentors teaching staff, coordinates arts enrichment activities with artists and community partners, manages arts spaces, convenes an advisory committee, organizes family arts events, and documents program experiences through photographs, narratives, and video. The role works primarily in classroom settings and travels to various sites for meetings and training.

Leads Next Door’s agency-wide marketing and communications strategy, campaigns, brand messaging, digital and social media, public relations, storytelling, and vendor relationships. Manages marketing projects, budgets, workflows, and the Visual Media Specialist while partnering across programs, development, HR, leadership, families, and community stakeholders. Uses analytics to improve engagement and supports enrollment, fundraising, recruitment, awareness, and organizational communications.

Lead and supervise Early Head Start and Head Start classroom teams to implement evidence-based instructional practices, ensure compliance with Head Start and licensing standards, conduct observations (CLASS), oversee assessments and paperwork, support professional development, and act as site leader when needed.

Lead organization-wide compliance for Head Start and related programs by building monitoring systems, readiness processes, corrective action tracking, and documentation standards. Coordinate across departments, prepare for federal monitoring and audits, translate regulations into tools and training, manage corrective actions, and report compliance status to executive leadership and governance bodies.

Serve as the senior internal finance leader overseeing an outsourced finance vendor, ensuring fiscal compliance for Head Start and federal grants, producing dashboards/forecasts, strengthening controls, managing audits, and coaching the Lead Grant Accountant. Act as the President's trusted financial advisor, translate financial risks and options, and build organizational finance capacity to support program and strategic decisions.
