The professor will build an independent research program in functional and structural neuroimaging and serve as a core member of the Biomedical Research Imaging and Innovation Center. Research may address traumatic brain injury, brain development and aging, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurodegeneration, and machine learning for neuroimaging. Part-time Assistant or Associate Professor teaching Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at NYITCOM’s Old Westbury campus. Responsibilities include pre-clinical and clinical instruction, serving as an OMM laboratory table trainer, grading practical examinations, and supporting departmental activities. Requires a D.O. or M.D. from an approved medical school and board certification or eligibility.

Supports experiential education and career success programs, including internships, service-learning, student advising, employer and faculty communication, program promotion, recruitment, evaluation, reporting, and community partnerships. Advises students and alumni on resumes, interviewing, networking, job searches, and career development. Delivers workshops and presentations, supports admissions and orientation events, and manages multiple campus initiatives.

Develops and manages medical education pipeline programs for K-12 and pre-med students, emphasizing underrepresented and economically disadvantaged populations. Responsibilities include outreach research, program creation, recruitment, relationship building with schools and educational organizations, participant tracking, mentor program supervision, funding research, event support, and collaboration with medical school staff and faculty. The role also trains student assistants and requires independent management of multiple programs, travel, and occasional evening or weekend work.

Oversees online and blended learning quality, accessibility, academic integrity, user communications, client outreach, support trend analysis, and service improvements. Partners with faculty, staff, and students to increase adoption of instructional technologies and digital fluency. Supervises support staff and coordinates resources for academic technology initiatives. The role requires occasional travel to the NYC campus and occasional nights or weekends.

Administer examinations for NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine students, enforce examination policies, and complete required proctor training and annual meetings. Proctors may select available morning, afternoon, or full-day weekday shifts. The role requires professionalism, organization, multitasking, computer proficiency, and adherence to NYITCOM procedures.

The Director of Finance and Operations oversees fiscal and operational support for Academic Affairs. Responsibilities include budget planning, forecasting, analysis, reconciliation, reporting, purchasing oversight, budget amendments, financial liaison work, and support for faculty hiring budgets.
