Supervises clinic operations managers, supports organizational initiatives, identifies operational risks, and collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to improve access, quality, patient experience, and financial sustainability.

Student clinical rotation opportunity with NEW Health, a rural federally qualified health center. Participants may gain hands-on experience across medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, nursing, and healthcare support disciplines. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program, eligible for clinical experiences, professional, reliable, patient-centered, and able to meet onboarding and confidentiality requirements. Manage the full grant lifecycle: identify opportunities, prepare proposals and reports, ensure compliance, coordinate cross-departmental grant teams, track funding and reimbursements, and maintain grant documentation.

The Controller oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, payroll accounting, grant compliance, audits, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The role ensures GAAP and regulatory compliance, monitors grant expenditures, supports revenue cycle performance, provides financial analysis for decision-making, and supervises finance staff. A bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible accounting experience are required. Healthcare, nonprofit, grant management, audit coordination, CPA status, and supervisory experience are preferred.
