The Controller oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, payroll accounting, grant compliance, audits, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The role ensures GAAP and regulatory compliance, monitors grant expenditures, supports revenue cycle performance, provides financial analysis for decision-making, and supervises finance staff. A bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible accounting experience are required. Healthcare, nonprofit, grant management, audit coordination, CPA status, and supervisory experience are preferred.

Supports healthcare quality improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing performance metrics, preparing reports, assisting with QI projects, monitoring progress, supporting audits and risk assessments, maintaining dashboards and registries, revising policies, conducting staff training, and collaborating with healthcare stakeholders.

Supports healthcare applications and electronic record systems by testing upgrades, coordinating maintenance, resolving user and vendor issues, maintaining documentation, training records, and improving workflows. The role collaborates with clinical, administrative, IT, and training staff; develops application content and templates; monitors compliance with HIPAA and state and federal records regulations; and may specialize in clinical or business applications.
