Teams at New Flyer

Provide manufacturing engineering support for assigned cell(s): implement lean initiatives, review and implement ECNs, design tooling/equipment, create shop floor instructions, assign part locators, maintain layouts, lead continuous improvement and SWAT teams, and support capital upgrades.

Perform assemblies and installations on heavy-duty transit buses on a production line. Read blueprints and process sheets, gather parts, use hand and power tools, measure to specifications, maintain quality, and keep a clean, safe workstation. Requires lifting, ladder use, repetitive standing, and availability for assigned shifts and overtime.

Lead manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and coatings teams to ensure safe, efficient facility and equipment readiness. Drive continuous improvement (Lean initiatives), manage capital projects and budgets, support product introductions, oversee documentation and preventive maintenance, and develop team members while collaborating cross-functionally.
