Leads the Edge AI team and roadmap from research through production deployment. Provide administrative support for People & Culture operations, managing digital HR processes and employee records across the lifecycle. Builds and mentors a multidisciplinary engineering team, translates research into reliable customer-facing capabilities, establishes scalable development standards, and aligns technical roadmaps with product and business goals.

Lead reinforcement learning and behavior cloning development for humanoid robots, improving locomotion, loco-manipulation, autonomy, and interaction. Develop and deploy policies across simulation and real hardware, drive sim-to-real transfer, integrate algorithms with controls, perception, sensors, and hardware, and validate performance through experiments. The role requires advanced robotics expertise, strong programming skills, experience with reinforcement learning frameworks and robotic platforms, and familiarity with humanoid dynamics and control theory.

Support the CEO office by owning strategic workstreams: structure problems, produce C-level recommendations, run market/competitive analyses, build data models and frameworks, and drive cross-functional initiatives to completion.

Owns the data-capture hardware portfolio, including product strategy, roadmap, P&L, build-versus-buy decisions, supplier partnerships, quality, reliability, and commercial performance. Coordinates hardware, firmware, software, procurement, and AI/ML teams to deliver teleoperation equipment, suits, gloves, grippers, and related systems that meet field data-collection requirements.

Owns the full lifecycle of NeuraGym visitor demos, including scheduling, preparation, reception, execution, follow-up, playbook development, and conversion tracking. Coordinates robot demonstrations with gym operators and AI engineers, manages investor and partner events, and oversees business travel for AI and robotics teams. Provides calendar, onboarding, presentation, vendor, facility, and supply support across multiple locations.

Designs and leads DDS-based middleware for robotics and IoT systems, including real-time communication, distributed frameworks, ROS/ROS2 integration, QoS management, and performance optimization. The role develops C++ and Python libraries, supports autonomy, perception, and control systems, manages CI/CD and deployment workflows, evaluates industrial protocols, and mentors engineers. It also requires hands-on robot and IoT integration experience, system debugging, security knowledge, and leadership in high-performance development teams.

Design and integrate compact electric machines for robotic drives, including rotors, stators, housings, and bearings. Support electromagnetic and thermal sizing, create manufacturing-ready 3D models and drawings, build and test prototypes, and coordinate with suppliers on manufacturing and winding technologies.

Selects, specifies, qualifies, and integrates electrical and electronic components such as sensors, connectors, motors, brakes, and encoders. Creates component requirements and qualification plans, evaluates suppliers and samples with procurement and supplier quality teams, integrates components into available space and power networks, and oversees testing and approvals. Requires careful documentation and knowledge of environmental and reliability testing.

Design and develop high-precision, low-backlash gearboxes for robotic drives from initial concepts through manufacturing readiness. Responsibilities include gearbox sizing, gear and bearing concept development, tolerance and materials definition, lubrication selection, service-life and stiffness collaboration, prototype building and testing, optimization, and technical coordination with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Provides technical leadership for a mechanical design team developing robot drives, structural components, and peripherals. Owns design status, bills of materials, and release processes while ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets. Conducts design reviews and coordinates with architecture, simulation, and industrialization teams. Advances design guidelines and CAD methodology and brings prototypes through manufacturing-ready, series-production maturity.

Perform electromagnetic sizing and FEM simulation of electric machines. Optimize torque density, efficiency, losses, cogging torque, and NVH behavior. Create performance maps, provide results for controls and thermal sizing, correlate simulations with test-bench measurements, and support electric machine design decisions.

Design lightweight, stiff, load-bearing robot structural components for high-volume production. Responsibilities include creating parts using casting, die-casting, sheet metal, plastics, and additive manufacturing; designing for manufacturability and assembly; allocating tolerances; iterating from FEM results; producing 3D models, drawings, and bills of materials; and coordinating supplier feasibility and tooling concepts.

Leads industrialization and production ramp-up for a new product through start of production. Responsibilities include developing production concepts, line layouts, investment and capacity plans; coordinating equipment suppliers and engineering teams; managing schedule, cost, and quality targets; and aligning engineering, quality, procurement, and plant stakeholders.

Conduct 1D and 3D tolerance analyses using statistical and worst-case methods for precision assemblies. Define tolerance concepts with design and manufacturing teams, develop measurement and inspection concepts with quality, evaluate manufacturing capability using Cp/Cpk and supplier data, and contribute to alignment and assembly strategies for high-volume production.

Serve as the on-site IT point of contact for a Zurich office of approximately 100 employees. Support Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, peripherals, printers, and local networking. Manage device and user onboarding/offboarding, maintain records, coordinate vendors, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems to central 2nd- and 3rd-level support. Follow and improve IT processes and document recurring issues.

Own the mechanical architecture of robotic products from initial packaging through series design. Responsibilities include developing mechanical concepts and space allocation, defining interfaces for drives, electronics, and peripherals, evaluating materials and manufacturing methods, leading design reviews, and coordinating with simulation, industrialization, and procurement teams.

Define and develop the electrical and electronic architecture for robotic products, including ECU topology, power distribution, communication buses, wiring, safety concepts, and electrical interfaces. Evaluate components for cost, availability, and reliability while collaborating with functional safety, PCB design, and cable development teams to ensure robust, series-ready systems.
