Deploy and optimize machine learning models for production robots running on embedded accelerator hardware. Responsibilities include quantization, pruning, distillation, model export, inference optimization, profiling, and performance testing across platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson and Qualcomm IQ-series. The engineer collaborates with research, hardware, software, and product teams to deliver reliable on-device AI while meeting latency, power, memory, and accuracy requirements.

Lead functional safety strategy and governance for human-robot products. Build and coach safety engineers, drive HARA/FMEA/FTA/STPA analyses, compile defensible safety cases, ensure requirement traceability and verification across HW/SW, liaise with certification bodies, and adapt safety approach to evolving regulations.

Deliver hands-on training in robotics fundamentals, robot controllers, commissioning, industrial communication protocols, PLC integration, and hardware integration. Create and maintain training materials, demos, online learning modules, and simulation exercises. Stay current on product updates, provide feedback to development teams, support the learning management system, and use AI tools to improve training content. The role requires strong robotics and automation knowledge, programming basics, clear technical communication, and German and English proficiency.

Deliver programming and robotics training using Python, C++, NeuraPy, AI APIs, and ROS/ROS2. Teach software integration for cameras, microphones, grippers, and sensors; support exercises, application development, and debugging; create training materials and demos; maintain product knowledge; develop e-learning, coding labs, simulations, AI-assisted training tools, and Python-based administrative automations.

Shape the enterprise application architecture across ERP, CRM, BI, AI, MES, and PLM systems. Develop integration standards, reference architectures, data-flow overviews, and technology evaluation criteria. Serve as a technical sparring partner for integration and tool planning while supporting AI and digitalization strategy. Establish pragmatic guardrails that prevent shadow IT without slowing delivery, using strong communication and persuasion rather than formal authority.

Designs cable harnesses, feedthroughs, connectors, and mechanical interfaces for robotic systems. Leads data operators and interns in a physical AI robotics training center. Oversees shop-floor operations, process and data quality, documentation, KPIs, scheduling, knowledge-sharing meetings, hiring support, stakeholder coordination, and talent deployment for data collection campaigns. Works with robotics and AI teams to understand technical challenges and inform hiring and skills development strategies.

Coordinates NeuraGym visitor demos across multiple locations, including scheduling, preparation, reception, technical readiness, follow-up, conversion tracking, and special events. Manages business travel, calendars, onboarding logistics, supplies, vendors, facilities, and presentation materials for NeuraGym, PLA, and AI teams. Requires strong organization, communication, problem-solving, German and English fluency, and enthusiasm for robotics.

Develop robotic perception systems that process camera, depth, force, torque, and joint-sensor data. Build and optimize deep-learning models for object detection, recognition, tracking, 3D reconstruction, scene understanding, and sensor fusion. Implement real-time perception software in Python and C++, using OpenCV, 3D geometry, point-cloud processing, and GPU acceleration for deployment on collaborative robot arms operating near people.

Architect and deploy robotic perception systems for collaborative arms operating in dynamic human-centered environments. Build pipelines for sensor fusion, object detection and tracking, 6D pose estimation, 3D reconstruction, scene understanding, and manipulation. Develop deep learning and real-time C++/Python software using RGB-D, force-torque, and joint sensors, ROS2, DDS, OpenCV, PCL, and GPU acceleration.
