Responsibilities include managing an external development partner, overseeing firmware quality and regulatory evidence, establishing an in-house capability, developing production firmware standards, managing embedded security, and collaborating with hardware, software, quality, and regulatory teams. The role requires hands-on development using C/C++, STM32, FreeRTOS, ARM Cortex-M, low-power systems, and BLE connectivity.
