Support the founding team on strategic and operational initiatives across growth, product, HR, recruiting, partnerships, and internal processes. Analyze data, build reports, research markets and competitors, coordinate cross-team projects, and execute ad-hoc initiatives. Work directly with the founders and Chief of Staff to execute strategic projects across growth, product, operations, and fundraising. Responsibilities include recruiting operations, market and competitor research, cross-team initiative coordination, process improvement, go-to-market experimentation, and removing execution blockers. The role requires a structured, analytical generalist who can define ambiguous problems, manage multiple priorities, and deliver outcomes in a fast-growing open-source startup.

Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and IaC for globally distributed management and relay services. Maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement observability, lead incident response and postmortems, optimize routing and connectivity with backend teams, and build internal tooling to improve developer experience and support the open-source ecosystem.

Lead customer engagements from discovery through deal closure and onboarding. Design and present tailored network architectures, run demos/trials/PoCs, address technical objections, and drive deployment and early adoption while liaising with Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Design and build responsive, accessible frontend interfaces using modern frameworks. Lead frontend development from concept through deployment, collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers, and ensure application performance and quality across devices and browsers.

Lead development of high-performance, cross-platform networking code (Windows/macOS/Linux). Design and maintain distributed systems, optimize network performance, write tests, review code, support open-source users, and engage with customers as needed.

Own and evolve NetBird's iOS and Android apps end-to-end: design, build, test, release, and monitor secure mobile experiences. Drive architecture, CI/CD, cross-team collaboration, and production issue resolution.

Build and ship open-source features for homelabbers and self-hosters across the full stack. Improve self-hosting, local deployments, developer experience, docs, and tooling (Docker, Kubernetes). Turn community feedback and GitHub issues into code, review community pull requests, and experiment with integrations to keep NetBird approachable and hackable.

Build and grow NetBird's developer community by creating technical content, supporting customers, presenting at events, tracking engagement metrics, and participating in technical discussions to ensure successful platform adoption.

Provide technical assistance to customers deploying and troubleshooting NetBird's zero-trust networking platform across Slack, GitHub, email and other channels. Become product expert, update documentation, collaborate with engineering and sales to resolve issues, improve support processes, and advocate product improvements.

Design, build, and scale high-throughput backend services and APIs in Go. Own data modeling and database performance optimization, implement observability, take end-to-end feature ownership, collaborate on routing and connectivity, and engage with the open-source community to debug and support users.

Lead and grow an engineering team building core components of a zero-trust networking platform. Translate product goals into execution plans, ensure reliability and performance, provide technical guidance, drive delivery, hiring, and foster engineering culture focused on ownership and continuous improvement.
