Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements, coordinate materials and resources, respond quickly to production issues, communicate with suppliers/customers, generate reports, and identify process improvements to ensure on-time shipments and efficient use of labor and equipment.

Supervise daily production activities on the manufacturing floor: assign work, implement production schedules, monitor equipment and quality checks, drive continuous improvement and corrective actions, conduct training and meetings, complete production reporting, and manage time and attendance for bargaining unit employees. Support experimental projects and special assignments.

Manage aftermarket and OEM product development engineering teams for driveline products. Lead design, prototyping, testing, and cross-functional product launches. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, IATF-16949, APQP/PPAP, and internal standards. Set department goals and budget, mentor staff, coordinate with quality, manufacturing, sales, suppliers, and customers.

Manage transportation operations and freight spend, analyze logistics costs, coordinate suppliers and plants to resolve disruptions, handle freight claims and cargo insurance, and maintain carrier/3PL relationships while supporting carrier selection and contract management.

Supervise material planning and logistics to ensure materials flow per production schedules. Schedule and manage UAW material handlers, maintain ERP records (Plex), oversee shipping/receiving, coordinate outbound freight, conduct cycle counts, and lead safety and process improvement initiatives.

Perform incoming, in-process, final product, and dock audits; inspect parts and assemblies using gauges and measuring devices; conduct MSA and ISIR documentation; train QC personnel; maintain records and recommend corrective actions to ensure specification compliance.

Support corporate FP&A by preparing budgets, long-range plans, forecasts, monthly close reporting, Sales & EBITDA bridges, R&O summaries, and financial presentations. Coordinate with business units on inventory, working capital, and capital projects, maintain financial calendar, drive Adaptive Insights usage, participate in AI initiatives, and perform ad-hoc analyses.

Design, develop, program, debug, and implement control systems and production equipment to improve safety, throughput, quality, and reliability. Lead projects from concept through launch, integrate PLCs, HMIs, motion, vision, and data systems, apply Lean and automotive quality standards, supervise contractors, and collaborate with production, maintenance, QA, and safety teams.

Own and grow customer base across the central U.S.; develop sales strategies, identify new customers, set forecasts and quotas, negotiate contracts, provide product training, coordinate internal teams, analyze opportunities, and support cross-functional needs. Requires heavy travel within territory.

Manage day-to-day plant operations to meet production, quality, cost, safety, and staffing goals. Drive continuous improvement (lean), optimize labor and resources, ensure EH&S compliance, track productivity metrics, develop production staff, and support plant leadership to deliver customer requirements.

Manage manufacturing engineering team to develop and implement efficient, compliant machining and heat-treat processes. Support capital planning, develop PFMEAs, process control plans, work instructions, and PPAP documentation while ensuring IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 compliance and production launch readiness.
