Engineering Intern supporting defense manufacturing operations through electrical assembly, harness and cable fabrication, process documentation, work instruction development, testing, drawing updates, time studies, and process improvement. The role collaborates with production, quality, and supply chain teams while assisting with automated equipment, tooling, test fixtures, engineering change notices, and corrective actions.

Owns driveline and PTO systems across military and commercial vehicle programs. Responsibilities include component selection and integration, driveline analysis, supplier coordination, drawing and BOM release, CAD review, prototype support, troubleshooting vibration and durability issues, and developing design standards. Requires collaboration across multiple programs, shop-floor involvement, and up to 10% travel.

Owns revenue growth across defense, aerospace, government, and commercial markets. Personally leads opportunity identification, capture strategy, proposals, negotiations, pricing, and contract awards, with an emphasis on naval and maritime programs. Builds relationships with DoD program offices, primes, shipyards, and OEMs; oversees marketing, HubSpot-based pipeline management, and eventual sales-team expansion. Requires a proven record of personally closing military contracts, technical credibility, extensive defense sales experience, and up to 50% domestic and international travel.

Drives product and process quality in a manufacturing plant through production support, root-cause investigations, CAPA, nonconforming material management, APQP/PPAP, QMS maintenance, and audit readiness. Serves as the primary customer quality contact, develops quality plans and process documentation, leads cross-functional corrective actions, tracks quality metrics, and mentors quality team members while ensuring ISO and MIL compliance.
