Serves as the front-office contact for clients and visitors, answers and directs calls, provides service information, schedules appointments, manages clinician calendars, prepares records, collects payments, organizes files, and maintains compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare, and agency policies.

Conduct comprehensive mental health needs assessments, complete intake documentation, and maintain accurate client records in the EHR. Coordinate referrals, service recommendations, and authorizations with families, providers, managed care organizations, and internal teams. Document assessments, respond to communications, support clinical staff, and participate in case staffing while ensuring timely and accurate follow-up.

Coordinate and create individualized discharge plans for adults in a 16-bed recovery unit. Assess client needs, arrange follow-up care and transportation, collaborate with treatment team and community providers, educate clients/families on resources, and maintain accurate EHR documentation.

Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and substance-use treatment for ACT program clients. Oversee medical and clinical services, supervise psychiatric and medical staff, guide treatment planning, monitor client progress, collaborate with healthcare providers, and support clients’ recovery and community stability. The psychiatrist must remain available to ACT team members and medical collaborators as needed.

Provide front-desk reception and administrative support: greet clients, answer and route multi-line phone calls, schedule appointments, maintain client files, perform word processing, spreadsheets, and basic database tasks to support clinical staff.

Reviews and corrects healthcare claims, investigates denials, contacts payers, and supports billing and revenue optimization. The role also manages credentialing, medical records, subpoenas, facility licensing, enrollment, contracts, compliance documentation, KPI reporting, and process improvements. Collaboration with billing, leadership, IT, providers, and payers is essential. This is an in-office position requiring accuracy, privacy compliance, and knowledge of denial management.

Partners with operational leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, policy compliance, and HR programs. Provides manager coaching, analyzes workforce trends, supports organizational change and engagement initiatives, and collaborates across recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and other HR functions.

Lead and supervise a team of behavioral health clinicians, manage case assignments and documentation quality, provide clinical consultation and crisis support, engage community partners and referral sources, conduct initial assessments and client check-ins, and support staff professional development and electronic system use.

Provide remote outpatient behavioral health assessments per South Carolina Medicaid/RBHS standards; formulate diagnoses and treatment recommendations; complete timely clinical documentation; coordinate care with providers; maintain licensure, compliance, and participate in required trainings and supervision.

Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief therapy within an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. Participate in daily team meetings, assist treatment planning, supervise NPs/PAs, collaborate with nursing and staff on medical care and medication policies, and provide psychiatric backup and clinical consultation to support community stability and reduce hospitalizations.

Coordinate referrals and service authorizations with families, providers, and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). Communicate with care teams, respond to emails/voicemails, and support clinical leadership to ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care.

Manage the ACT referral pipeline and client flow from referral through discharge. Oversee admissions, intake, transitions, and outreach. Supervise regional ACT teams, ensure access and transition fidelity, monitor staffing, productivity, compliance, and operational workflows to prevent clients from falling through process gaps.

Lead and support a team of behavioral health professionals: manage caseloads, review and approve clinical documentation, provide crisis consultation and aftercare monitoring, conduct assessments, engage community partners, and ensure service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for ACT team clients; supervise medical staff and NPs/PAs; coordinate care with providers; participate in treatment planning, crisis intervention, and service coordination; be available to the ACT team 24/7 to ensure clinical oversight and community stability.

Lead and supervise a team of behavioral health professionals, manage caseloads and clinical operations, provide crisis consultation, review and ensure quality clinical documentation, engage community partners and referral sources, conduct initial assessments as needed, and support staff professional development and electronic system use.

Provide weekly individual and group clinical supervision, mentorship, and licensure-focused training for residents. Review documentation, lead case discussions, ensure competency-based, ethical practice, and collaborate on program improvement to support residents toward licensure.

Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, crisis assessment/intervention, psychotherapy, and substance use treatment for ACT team clients. Supervise medical/clinical staff, consult with other providers, support treatment planning, and be available 24/7 to respond to team needs.
