Lead and coordinate habitation trade activities for shipbuilding projects: manage resources, budgets, schedules and subcontractors; ensure HSE and quality compliance; provide technical support, develop procedures, and drive continuous improvement and training.

Manage end-to-end procurement for subcontracted works, services, and goods: prepare RFPs/RFQs/contracts, assess suppliers, lead negotiations, monitor delivery and compliance, maintain records, conduct market research, and support procurement policy and risk management.

Provide naval architecture across concept, detailed design, build support and in-service projects. Perform structural and stability analyses, inclining experiments, dry-docking analysis, mooring/hydrodynamic assessments, ship modifications, FEA (ANSYS) and Paramarine stability work. Liaise with clients, support tendering, ensure quality assurance and compliance with standards, and draft technical reports.

Provide on-site first-line application support for PLM and CAD systems (Teamcenter/Windchill) and integrated enterprise systems like SAP. Own incidents from report to resolution, liaise with central SMEs, support engineering and manufacturing stakeholders, maintain documentation, and participate in site digital transformation projects.

Lead definition, integration and assurance of ship automation, control and monitoring systems. Own architectures, specifications, supplier interfaces, I/O lists, hazard analysis and systems engineering activities, and support digital twins and simulation while mentoring junior engineers.

Lead systems engineering for advanced naval platforms: own end-to-end requirements, set SEMP and governance, define V&V strategy, develop system/subsystem specifications and interfaces, govern MBSE architecture modelling, strengthen PLM traceability (Siemens Teamcenter), build compliance evidence, and provide technical leadership and mentoring.

Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning in a project-driven environment. Build models and scenario analyses, deliver P&L, cash flow and KPI reporting, drive variance analysis, partner with operations and commercial teams, support financial close, and improve processes and reporting frameworks to inform strategic decisions.

Provide administrative support for production operations: maintain records of materials, equipment and workforce; input and manage data in ERP and planners; produce KPIs and reports; assist with quality, audits, Health & Safety documentation, scheduling, minutes, resource tracking, inventory monitoring, shift coordination, and resolving on‑the‑ground production issues.

Lead and mature a multi-site Project Controls function delivering integrated cost, schedule, risk, EVMS and change control. Establish governance, produce executive reporting, manage forecasts/EACs, embed risk management and drive digital improvement across shipyards and delivery partners.

Define and lead digital ship strategy and digital systems architecture, set standards and governance, specify and integrate onboard capabilities (networks, sensing, data fusion), deliver digital twin scope, engage suppliers, and support test, validation and commissioning across naval programmes.

Provide administrative support for central stores and procurement: process goods in/out, maintain inventory and SAP data, run reports, assist stock counts and audits, raise supplier NCRs, upload timesheets, support procurement PRs and vending administration, and liaise with Finance, Procurement, Warehouse and suppliers.

Lead UK and Northern Ireland tax matters: advise on direct/indirect tax, transfer pricing, compliance, audits, customs, risk management, and group alignment. Act as subject-matter expert and main liaison with tax authorities and international tax teams.

Provide commercial and contract management support for complex defence and maritime bids and ongoing programmes. Lead commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers, support supply chain on NDAs and T&Cs, contribute to bid strategy, financial oversight, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure profitable, compliant contract delivery.
