Collects outstanding patient and payer balances by contacting insurance companies and patients, processing appeals, auditing accounts, working AR queues, meeting productivity and accuracy targets, and maintaining confidentiality while using MS Office and billing/coding knowledge.

Manage provider enrollment, revalidation, and recredentialing with government and commercial payers. Maintain accurate provider records, submit and track applications, liaise with payers and internal teams to resolve issues, ensure compliance with CMS and payer guidelines, and prevent claim delays through timely revalidation and documentation.

Enter anesthesia patient demographics and charges from charge tickets into the patient accounting system; verify insurance eligibility and coding (CPT, ICD-10, ASA, HCPCS); review anesthesia records; correct batch errors; suspend incomplete tickets; assist collections; meet accuracy and volume targets.

Collect and follow up on outstanding patient and payer accounts: phone insurers and patients, process appeals, research/audit accounts, maintain accuracy and productivity targets, use spreadsheets and MS Office, and apply medical coding and payer guidelines.

Coordinate and optimize physician and CRNA schedules across multiple sites, manage daily staffing, handle shift changes, call assignments, vacation/CME requests, credentialing checks, reporting, and communication with providers and hospital partners to ensure compliant, continuous patient coverage.
