Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op supporting switchgear design, testing, documentation, process improvement, time studies, workflow analysis, equipment troubleshooting, production data analysis, root cause investigations, CAD updates, and safety, quality, and continuous improvement projects in an on-site manufacturing environment.

Manages the engineering function, including engineering programs, methods, technical guidance, equipment purchasing, resource utilization, documentation, and compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and company policies. Leads engineers and makes personnel decisions while supporting budgets, strategic planning, teamwork, and continuous operational effectiveness in a manufacturing environment.

Design and optimize sand-casting foundry tooling, including patterns, plates, core boxes, gating, risers, and feeding systems. Run MAGMA simulations, create CAD models and production drawings, support CNC machining, lead trial runs, analyze casting defects, and improve yield, scrap, mold shift, and throughput. Maintain tooling documentation and collaborate with Foundry, Tool Room, CNC, and Product Engineering teams.

Lead reliability strategy and validation testing for switchgear products, including FMEA, Weibull analysis, accelerated life testing, environmental and electrical testing, and root-cause analysis. Design test fixtures and apparatus, operate test rigs, analyze data, document results, and drive product improvements. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing, support new product introduction, train technicians, and manage external testing vendors.

Leads integrated marketing communications across brand messaging, visual identity, email, social media, sales collateral, events, and multimedia content. Translates technical information into clear, engaging communications, manages brand assets, tracks campaign performance, collaborates cross-functionally, and mentors junior talent. The role requires strong writing, design, project management, marketing automation, and content production skills.
