Support year-end project reporting and ongoing financial analysis for LIHTC projects, including oversight of project-level tax returns and audits. Perform quarterly project-level financial statement analysis, review audited financials, coordinate with CPAs and sponsors, escalate issues, maintain tax/partnership documentation, produce ad hoc Excel reports, and drive process improvements to support Asset Management and investor reporting.

Lead NEF's national LIHTC originations platform, manage regional and specialty originations teams, set origination policy and strategy, drive developer relationships, support deal structuring and execution, align with capital markets and investors, expand markets/products, represent NEF externally, and ensure operational and regulatory compliance.

Evaluate financial strength and creditworthiness of sponsors and guarantors for LIHTC projects by analyzing GAAP financial statements, identifying risks and anomalies, reconciling schedules, documenting conclusions, and collaborating with underwriting and investment teams to support investment decisions and process improvements.

Lead marketing operations and communications, manage budgets, vendors, and project workflows; implement process improvements; oversee integrated campaigns across digital, print, events, social and web; measure ROI and performance; quality-control outputs; coach junior staff; partner with senior leadership and internal teams to align resources and demonstrate organizational impact.

Lead investor relationships and capital raises for multi-investor and regional funds in the western U.S., coordinate internal stakeholders, structure funds for investor objectives and CRA, and represent investor priorities. Travel to investor meetings and events; leverage networks to raise equity and support fund closings.

Originate, structure, and negotiate low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) investments across the East/Northeast region. Build and execute regional business plans and marketing strategies, secure investor interest, maintain developer and stakeholder relationships, underwrite complex real estate transactions per NEF guidelines, and ensure long-term project viability while collaborating with internal teams.

Manage and coordinate due diligence, underwriting, and closing for LIHTC projects. Prepare market, operating expense, and guarantor financial analyses; update underwriting models; coordinate third-party studies; respond to investor questions; support asset management post-closing. Present investment proposals to the investment committee and track due diligence to closing.
