Own product areas from discovery through launch, engage customers, research the AI agent ecosystem, identify zero-to-one opportunities, and partner with engineering, design, marketing, and sales. Define success metrics, prioritize under uncertainty, coordinate launches, and contribute to product strategy and roadmap for technical APIs, SDKs, and agent infrastructure.

Build and scale growth systems across acquisition, onboarding, activation, attribution, lead scoring, sales automation, and product-led growth. Ship full-stack experiments, improve website and signup flows, connect product usage with marketing and sales systems, analyze funnels, and turn successful experiments into reliable systems. The role combines independent software development with customer insight, positioning, UX, conversion optimization, and business outcomes.

Lead Nango’s transition from inbound growth to a repeatable enterprise sales engine. Own enterprise strategy and results, build pipeline, close strategic accounts, refine positioning and pricing, establish forecasting and operating cadence, and translate customer insight into company strategy. Initially operate as a hands-on player, then hire and lead the sales organization as the motion scales.

Build and close Nango’s enterprise sales pipeline as its first enterprise seller. Own deals from prospecting through technical validation, contracting, and expansion. Sell to engineering, product, AI, and executive stakeholders; lead technical evaluations with engineers; develop champions, messaging, sales processes, and repeatable deal patterns; and relay customer and market insights to Product and Engineering.

Own and scale Nango’s cloud platform, including compute, networking, data infrastructure, Kubernetes, IaC, and GitOps. Lead BYOC and private-cloud deployments, productize provisioning and upgrades, establish SLOs and incident processes, operate PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse, and oversee infrastructure security and compliance. Help shape product strategy while supporting a remote-first, autonomous engineering team.

Design and scale backend systems, APIs, and services for Nango’s open-source developer infrastructure platform. Build APIs, SDKs, UIs, and runtime systems, optimize performance and reliability, solve integration challenges with customers, shape the roadmap, and maintain the open-source repository. The role requires strong ownership, product thinking, developer empathy, communication, and autonomy in a remote-first startup environment.

Own and scale Nango’s cloud platform, including compute, networking, databases, Kubernetes, IaC, and GitOps. Lead BYOC and private-cloud deployments, improve provisioning and observability, establish SLOs and incident processes, and manage Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse at scale. Drive infrastructure security and compliance for SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and enterprise reviews while shaping product strategy and supporting a remote-first engineering team.

Nango is hiring Senior and Staff Backend Engineers to design, build, and optimize backend systems and APIs, collaborating with customers and driving product strategy.

Work directly with the founders on strategic, product, growth, and operational initiatives. Own ambiguous, high-impact projects end-to-end, research markets and customers, build AI-powered automations and internal tools, lead cross-functional programs, and improve core business operations including finance, legal, billing, and vendor management.

Write deeply technical content and build prototypes to educate developers on APIs, integrations, agents, and AI infrastructure. Stay current on AI infra, shape the products technical narrative with founders, and drive awareness, adoption, and word of mouth through technical content.

The Head of Growth will represent Nango in the SF AI startup community, build relationships, create content, and drive revenue and product insights.
